Construction Update - November 6, 2024
We are so excited to announce the completion of the Willoughby Farms Rehabilitation Project!
This project brought a variety of critical infrastructure improvements to the Willoughby Farms neighborhood including updates to the roadway, curb and gutter, drainage improvements, cross walk accessibility upgrades, and more.
- 4.6 miles of residential streets rehabilitated
- 1 mile of bike lanes created
- 17,000 tons of asphalt used to repave the streets
- 60,000 square feet of sidewalk replaced
- 14,000 feet of curb and gutter replaced and installed
- 1,500 tons of cement used to stabilize the stone roadway base
- 1,200 feet of multi-use paths created

Over the last week and a half, the contractor applied the final asphalt surface mix throughout the entire project area! All paving is now complete in the subdivision.
Over the next two weeks, the remaining work includes installation of inlaid pavement markings, roadway signage, and landscape restoration. Once all contract and punch list work is to the satisfaction of the Village, the project will be complete! |
